Accredited Calibration Laboratory NIST Traceable

Our NIST traceable calibration laboratory at Norbar Torque Tools Inc. has implemented a quality program meeting the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, NIST Handbook 150:2006, all requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005, and relevant requirements of ISO 9002:1994. The laboratory can calibrate torque transducers with capacities up to 5000 ft.lbs to BS7882:1997, the first standard available for these devices. Transducers with capacities over 5,000 ft.lbs. will be sent to Norbar Torque Tools Ltd's UKAS and NATA certified laboratory in Banbury, UK for calibration.

Norbar Torque Tools Inc. has recently received NVLAP accreditation. The highest accreditation that can be achieved by a Calibration laboratory. Norbar Torque Tools Inc. will continue to offer the most comprehensive service available. The laboratory can calibrate most makes of Torque Transducers within the range of 10 in.oz. - 1000 ft.lbs. within .02% of indicated value and 500 ft.lbs. - 5000 ft.lbs within .03% of indicated value within the NVLAP lab code 200596-0.
